  • Matchbox and celebratory balloons

Elvis had it right. Sometimes you just need leave the building. It started to rain tonight as me and Hannah walked to Eastern Market. We didn’t have any idea where we were going. All we knew was that we hadn’t eaten and could eat a small mammal. We ran into Matchbox, which Hannah had heard was…

  • Protesters at U.S. Supreme Court

So I woke up and walked to the U.S. Supreme Court today. There were literally hundreds of people. Half had spent the night on the sidewalk. This is the story I wrote for The Daily Caller with a fellow intern. I don’t agree with what the Westboro Baptist Church and supporters say, but I do…

  • Turkish Festival DC 2010 + white house visit

The Turkish Festival was literally a quarter as big as Fiesta DC. However, the food was good and the dances were excellent. I had the yogurt drink which is pretty much melted yogurt. I saw some people drinking it like it was heavenly libations. My friend was upset with me for even suggesting he try…

  • Fiesta DC 2010

There aren’t a lot of Mexicans in DC. But there is certainly no lack of brown people. The food was great. The best thing about this festival is not everyone is trying to sell you something.

  • H Street Festival

This festival was huge. Two stages. Random people banging on trash cans in between. Tons to eat and see. Art on rocks, trucks and people. Here are some videos and pictures I took.

  • Ok I give in

It has come to my attention that having a blog is important. I have a camera that takes HD video and not everyone I know has facebook (seriously). So I’m just going to put up my brain stream here. Enjoy.
